Application Performance Management Specialist (Internship)

APM/Observability Service can be used together with any Tietoevry or 3rd party hosted target application for advanced performance analytics and consultation functions. APM Service is often used together with DevOps, AIOps, Application Operations, Application Management and/or Quality Assurance services. 

An observability service typically employs tools and platforms designed to collect, visualize, and analyze these data types. Popular observability tools and platforms which you might get familiar with are:

• Dynatrace
• Datadog
• AppDynamics
• Prometheus: A metrics-focused, open-source monitoring and alerting toolkit.
• Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK Stack): A popular stack for log aggregation, searching, and visualization.
• Jaeger: Open-source, end-to-end distributed tracing.
• Grafana: A visualization tool often used with Prometheus and other data sources for building dashboards.

You will be responsible for:

APM Implementation phase

• Implementation, configuration and testing of the designed APM solution
• Customer-specific APM Solution documentation creation.
• APM solution transfer to production

Production phase

• Core operation processes in the service scope
• Incident Management
• Request Fulfilment
• Problem Management
• Change Management
• Configuration Management
• Knowledge Management
• Capacity management (Licenses, hardware and team resources)
